Conversion of Existing Fresh Food Outlet to Medical Practice
The project involved a change of use from an existing, abandoned fresh food grocer, to a state of the art, modern and sleek Medical & Pathology Practice. The existing building included an expansive curved glass curtail wall and sloped overhead glazed atrium. Bull & Bear Projects was contracted to design & construct the proposed medical centre, situated in the Charter Hall operated shopping centre, The Marketplace Rutherford.
Working with the client and Charter Hall, Bull & Bear Projects was able to fully design and obtain council approvals in just ten days from signing contracts. Commencing construction onsite immediately and successfully handing over the completed Medical Centre in just 8 weeks.
Works included structural modifications, refurbishment of the shopping centres façade, replacement of all glass curtain walling and sloped overhead glazing, full internal fit-out, extensive services and joinery.
